Going to comment here as you seem more active on here than the forum (sorry about that guy). 

I saw in a reply here you're focusing on post-immobility content. I would argue you need more pre-immobility content, as immobility comes too soon. I guess it's based off BMI but it seems to happen way too early (about 200-300lb too early). Probably all of the thresholds are too low, but it's obviously more noticeable at the top end.

That said, as a game, it's fantastic. My only nitpick is the weight thresholds - making them more realistic actual would extend the gameplay too, of course!

I tried to base the early BMI thresholds off my own experiences, but they might be a little too low, so I've bumped them up a tad (in what will be the next update). The new fitness system I've created should help here too as the fitter a girl is, the higher the BMI threshold to the next category.

With the higher weights, you're right, those are likely far too low. Currently immobility kicks in at a BMI of 85, but I'm thinking of raising than to 120 and adding another weight category to fill the gap and help ease the grind.

Happy reading about the "fitness system".

i see your game as an open world sandbox with storytelling - it will benefit from all stats going up AND down, so players can tell (or retell) the story they like.

Hope the fitness stats will also work in both directions - so players can transform and shape characters freely. Ofc. all with some effort or lack thereof.

Played quite some sandbox, life sim or stat building games, many of them involving food and body stats.
What bothered me was that some of them did only go into one direction. Level up but never down - resulting in a dead ends.

Seems you are on a good path, not only with the above.

With my new system, fitness can increase and decrease, but it isn't completely free; each girl has a base fitness that they revert to without regular exercise. So if you encounter a fit girl, there's no way of making her less fit until she's immobile and thus can no longer exercise independently.

I may introduce an alternative way of making girls less fit and reducing their base fitness through the player's influence. Not sure what that will look like yet though.

In the meantime, one way that can be tackled is by creating girls with a base fitness of 0.

BMI, whilst not a great marker in the real world, is mechanically the right way to do it in a game. The early thresholds are fine. It's when you get into any of the 'fat' categories, they come a little too early for the descriptions being given at those BMIs. Half the real life SSBBW models out there would be immobile in the game haha.

You could have 'fat' (and bump it up a couple of BMI), obese (50), morbidly obese (70) and barely mobile (100), before immobile (125?) You could even stick in super morbidly obese (as a 90ish) in and push barely mobile closer to immobile as more of a warning stage. The 'severely fat' stage reads like barely mobile at times, so it's more about finding the intermediates, in my opinion.

But as I say, the framework of this is frankly unparalleled. The potential is great, it's fun to 'collect' the personalities and body types, the scope for events between two girls in the future with personality combinations if you ever decided to do those would be amazing.

The BMI increase for immobility has been released now, along with a new 'barely mobile' category. I had been thinking about using terms like obese and morbidly obese for the categories, but in the end decided against it as they're already linked to BMI ranges medically.

I think your idea of interactions between the girls has promise. I'd like to make the dates more varied as they can get repetitive. That variation might include random events that occur during the date & perhaps if another girl you know is already at the date location, she might get involved. Could lead to say... a threesome?

As for multi-girl action, there's definitely scope for certain personality types clashing (can't remember them off by heart, but two bratty types fighting for you attention etc) or working well together (i.e. dominant & submissive). Lot of fun to be had there!

Found out about this game through the Weight Gaming forums and i wanted to say that this game is a certified banger! i loved the almost... roguelike? elements with the characters having randomized likes and dislikes. i think we have a solid frame here and can't wait to see more. some tweaks i could recommend to the randomizer is that certain jobs should probably link to their likes.  for example i somehow found a chef who was very meh about baking. Anyway I'm excited to see what other updates you'll push through to this game. Dare i say that I'm excited for a "Second Helping?" (also screw that one guy i saw bellyaching about your work on those forums. he's an asshat.)

As it happens, there actually is a job-interest system, with chef currently linked to the cooking interest; but it does make sense for that job to be linked to baking too. I'll expand that system to make sure there are no other incongruities.

Question about meeting women again after they quit or you delete their contact.

i found that it is:
1. likely that you meet again when they quit on you
2. rare that you meet again when you delete their contact
3. never meet women again when they were on disability/immobile and you delete them 

Are these observations correct OR how does the system work ?

If #3 is true i suggest that there should be some opportunity to get them back into the game, maybe by making them lose weight so they get mobile again.

i enjoy this as it is, but ofc looking forward to updates :D

That is a great point about immobile women essentially disappearing from the game if you delete their contact from your phone. I'll implement your weight loss suggestion so that they appear around town again.

With 1 & 2, its actually equally likely that you'll encounter them around town. All girls, whether they are in your contact list or not, are assigned locations each day, so it's just random chance whether you pick the right location & are lucky enough to spot them.

Maybe make it so they lose weight to a point of being mobile again but not skinny, like still fat just not immobile. On that topic, maybe if you dated a woman in the game and they gained weight, if you forced it to much and they dump you, you could see them around town at their last weight before they broke up. Perhaps even continuing to gain weight if they were fat enough before breaking up.

I agree. I want to keep off-screen weight loss to an absolute minimum, so it'll only occur to make immobile women not in your contact list mobile again, just so you can encounter them and re-add them should you so wish.

As soon as the woman is mobile again, the weight loss will end & that will also mean that any women who dump you whilst fat (and not immobile) won't lose any weight.

I see, that sounds like a plan. By the way, how is progress on the update going?

It's getting there. I've ended up adding a fair amount more than I originally planned, including a new care home location that I've probably spent too much time on. Most of the new features just need some thorough debugging before I can release it.

Is this game finished or will it be updated?

Updates are coming; I'm currently working on further weight gain beyond immobility and a fitness/exercise system. Expect that soonish.

I'd love to, but images aren't really my forte. Maybe I'll add some one day, but my current plans are to keep it text-only.

I think the game should stay text-only. A lot of small indie projects like yours in this genre start with text only, then decide to add images but the scale and cost of doing so makes them drop the project. Staying text only will reduce the workload significantly compared to adding images and it will also make updating the game by far easier. If you really wanted to add an image, maybe a title page background but I don't think it is needed.

Unfortunately, yes, my game is currently shadow banned and may well be fully banned in the coming days.

Looking forward for the savegame update ie.: local saves and the ability to delete existing saved towns.

is *deleting savegames* maybe possible via a quick fix?
Having several towns that i do not paly atm.

I've just released a small update that allows you to delete your unwanted saved games. :)

The local save feature will be part of the first big update as I'd like that to also save any custom girls created via the new Create-a-Girl system.

I think this could be a good feature. Maybe it could work like this:

  • Optional feature enabled when generating a new town.
  • Chance of impregnating girls whenever you have sex with them.
  • They'll let you know they're pregnant when you next meet up with them.
  • Timer in the phone screen to track how long they've been pregnant for.
  • Their growing bump will be visible on dates.

I'm not sure how long the pregnancy should last for though. I don't think it would be much fun if it took 9 months of in-game days. So perhaps 3 in-game days could equate to a month of pregnancy to speed things along? What do you think?

Good to have Pregnancy optional as a global setting. (i'm rly not into it.)
But when enabeled there still could be the choice of having save sex or not.

I love it. I'm on day 66, and the only woman I'm having sex with is Joanna Kelly. We had a lot of sex, and I suspect she is pregnant even though she hasn't told me, yet she is pregnant. I like the idea that three game days equate to one month.

the game is procedurally generated so idk who Joanna Kelly is since everyone's playthrough is different.

Make it 7 in game days for 1 month of pregnancy. That would equate to 63 in game days for a full term pregnancy, this would keep the pacing more relaxed and not as rushed. Also I think having an optional feature toggle is a great idea, it makes the game more appealing for a wider audience.

Would there be an option in the future for a protagonist gender selection and protagonist weight gain? Also would weights beyond immobile be achievable in the future?

 I would like to see better descriptions for how the fat collects and builds up, for example some women have a lot of rolls and others never form any rolls. Some women have loose fat and others gain very tightly packed fat.

 There are also medical conditions that change fat distribution like Lipedema that causes fat to collect exclusively in the lower body, a famous example being the Instagram model Randalin she has severe Lipedema, you can find a bunch of her pictures on the subreddit r/Itsrandalin. there is also the condition Macromastia that causes the breasts to not stop growing. 

These conditions and the types of fat descriptions could add some variation to the characters you interact with in game. Please keep working on the game, it is one of the best text adventures I've found in a long time.

protagonist gender selection option and protagonist weight gain would be awesome

Personaly prefer the "Player Character" staying anonymous. I do not see the player as protagonist. The townies are the protagonists. I need no data about the player character at all. You are the Player!

What I might do is have the protagonist weight gain be an optional feature & when turned off it would play as it does now. Gender select might be mandatory though as it will change how some of the dialogue/scenes play out.

Good concept to have some things optional (also pregnancy).
Gender select for the player character is a nice addition.

Also when there is player character weight gain there has to be weight loss.

I think I'll definitely add gender selection and protagonist weight gain.

I'd originally considered immobility to be the end point, but I could certainly keep the game going and add some additional levels of fatness for you to aim towards.

Your idea about more in-depth descriptions and variations in the body fat is a good one.

I could add Lipedema and Macromastia as two additional gain patterns; Lipedema being a more extreme pear and Macromastia focusing on breast growth.

I also plan on adding a Create-a-Girl feature in the main menu to let you design and name your perfect girl and then add her to the town for you to fatten.

Create-a-Girl feature is a great idea. Guess you would also be abel to add multiple differnt characters to a town (?)

wow cool! Your game is very good, excellent even. I haven't played a text adventure this good since I played Abducted+ by ToshDragonash, Fatty Text Adventure Game (FTAG) by Noone_fa, or Yaffaif by dingotush. With a bit more work and time invested in development, I think your game could be as big as those one. If you haven't played the games I listed yet you definitely should, they are great games and you may get inspiration for ideas to add to your game.

I had another idea, what if when the love interest becomes immobile, the location it happens at influences where you meet up with them going forward. For example, if they become immobile at your house they now live in a room at the house. Or if they become immobile at work they are shipped to a obese care center. Things like that could make the game more interactive.

Maybe, if you fatten up more than 2 towns women to morbid obesity or immobility the demographics of the town could shift. More chubby and fat women appear in town, and more restaurants offer fattening food with large portions instead of the normal fare. If you fatten more than 4 the town starts having more obese woman appear and businesses that cater towards fat people show up as options.

By the way, do you have an idea on when the next major update might be released or do you have no release schedule currently?

Thank you for the game recommendations & further ideas. As it happens, I'd been thinking about the possibility of including a care home for immobile women in the game; so that may well make an appearance at some point!

I can't make any promises regarding when the next major update might be released... but possibly within the next 2-3 weeks or so?

Hi! I don't know if it has been asked before, but any thoughts or plans for some protagonist weight gain? (I'd love to see some WLW content and being able to be a chunky lady who thickens up other women would be great =} )

This seems to be quite a popular suggestion, so I think I will likely add both protagonist weight gain and gender select in future. Gender select would be much simpler to add, so expect that first!

imho it would be great if there was also a way to lose weight again to go back and forth through the different stages! (Or did i miss something here?)

The one interaction on dates that does not involve food could cause weight-LOSS.  Specific locatoins/interactions to lose weight or get in shape would also work ofc.

Thank you for the suggestion! Don't worry, you didn't miss anything; it's not currently possible for girls to lose weight. 

I may add a location where you can purposefully trigger it if you wish (maybe some kind of health centre with cardio and weight loss injections as options?). I wouldn't want anyone to risk triggering accidental weight loss.

What about adding an interaction for some existing locations, like swimming on the beach,  jogging in town, hiking at the outdoor location. That way weightloss would happen intentional only. Specific locations like health center or gym is great too! Especially swimming is a sport fat people can be really good at ;)

I think it rly is necessary to go in both directions in a sandbox type game, otherwise many characters end up in a kind of finished state.
Plus it is fun to watch a chubby struggling to lose a few Kilos/Pounds.
The characters tend to talk about exercise rountines frequently, i cannot wait to expierience them doing it ;)

I confess i personally enjoy weight change in both directions.

Although I'm not a fan of weight loss, I do like the idea of some exercise actions that the girls find progressively harder to do, the fatter they get. So I think I may well add those (don't worry, I'll have the actions burn some calories).

Think of how hungry exercise actually makes, then the whole weightloss theme might get more appealing. Also, after every loss there is a potential win = gain!

The weight loss is not only for the kink but also good for the gameplay loop imho.

The text discription when you "check her out" is pretty good for Ai prompts.

Example:

"You take a moment to look her over more closely.

Her auburn hair is in a single, thick plait over her shoulder. She has a captivating face with long, dark eyelashes and green eyes.

She's grown to a very heavy size. Her frame is now buried beneath a thick layer of fat, which visibly affects her posture and gait.

She has a soft jawline and a hint of thickness at her neck's base, and thick, fleshy arms that press against her torso. Large, weighty breasts that have a noticeable sag are balanced by a soft waist that lacks sharp definition. A stomach softened by a little pudginess sits above wide, thick hips that strain the seams of her clothes. I had a lot of fun with this one! One suggestion would be to make it so that when you meet a girl you have a full and unique convo with her, to make them stand out from the get-go and give the perceptive player info for educated guesses of where to go and what to say. Makes it less likely to lose her from the get-go due to random chance.

Sorry about the save! It saves to your browser's local storage so unfortunately might have been lost through use of an incognito window/different device/browser/cleared history etc. I'll add an ability to let you save/load to a file on your device. 

I think your idea of a better initial conversation is a good one, so I'll look at adding that too. Thank you for your feedback.

Pretty good and well-designed! A couple notes:

- There's a bug/exploit once you unlock "Endless Appetite" and it becomes really exploitable after you unlock the "Feeder's Fantasy" Feast. Basically, once you do the first feeding of a date, if you select the priciest/lowest odds option, and then back out of it (selecting "no problem") it changes the likelihood of every option back to start-of-date levels, AND gives you the option of add-ons again, AND gives you the "Maybe she has room for more?" option again, letting you loop this for as long as you have money. You can very quickly pile the gains on and even skip through stages if you're not careful. 

- I think you underestimate the mobility and sexual options of people of average height under about 600+ lbs. I think you should also be clear in your description that this game has a heavy focus on health and mobility impacts from extreme weight gain, even around the 350 lb mark. I think it's just a bit too exaggerated compared to reality, especially for the character types who were previously athletic/gym going. It's possible for them to keep some muscle strength going if they are committed. 

- To elaborate on the sex, just because someone is fat doesn't mean sex has to be slow and careful. I think you should vary the sex, kissing, and cuddling a bit among the personality types in the future. But don't get me wrong, this game is quite good even as it is.

- A variety of differe types of Feeder's Fantasy feasts for the different locations only makes sense and I'm sure you've already thought about it.

- Sometimes the dialogue during feedings isn't consistent with the stage of weight the character is at. Like for the fitness-obsessed girl to say "I'm gonna have to skip my workout tomorrow" while elsewhere she's described as having trouble moving and breathing.

- I would like if more (or even, any) of the girls embraced the gain kink or revealed that they always wanted it instead of being depressed by it at an extreme size.

I'm thinking of adding two feedee personalities; one who's into it right from the start and another who learns to love it as they grow bigger.

It's a lot more work, but if you really wanna get fancy, you can have all 3 feedee types times all 16 personalities. So for example, athletic girl who hates getting fat, athletic girl looking for an excuse to let go, and athletic girl who resists at first but then loves it.
