I was experimenting in a player weight gain on save and I really like the journey of the feeders up to the facility, maybe we could meet them somehow in a non player wg save somehow? Like we meet them as they are with another girl feeding her in some of the different spaces and we connect through our similar interests (Ballooning girls) or something like that? Only to start meeting them more often and ending with them tricked into being bigger than the girls they fed or similar.
Just a request, no need to take it seriously.

It is already very possible to trick a feedee and reverse roles, if you play it right!>Actually i never played with player WG OFF, since the player character was introduced.

Good point to have feeder gals even when there is no palyer WG.
Maybe there still could be a player character if you switch "Player WG OFF". So you create a player character as normal just without the gain - a  "can eat what i want but do not gain" chartacter ;) Then you could play the feedes as normal and they will be surprised that only they gain. Maybe even gain just by looking at you eating.
This would be like a "Free Mode" where you do not have to worry about your own weight.

Difficulty levels where already announced! So this could be the "ultra easy" or "free mode".

Not sure if its been asked about or mentioned but do you have any plans for the player to react to their weight, I think it would be interesting to have options when creating your character to choose how they react to their own weight gain, could even tie into the corruption sytem you have mentioned where the feeder characters could "corrupt" your player character.

Thanks for suggesting this. I don't think anyone has mentioned this idea previously & it isn't something I'd considered!

I created the current system from the perspective of 'you, the player, know what you like and how you would feel about the weight gain of your own character'. But as you don't experience the actual sensations of what it is like to get fatter, telling you how it makes you feel would work really well. I like your idea of the feeders being able to mirror the player with the corruption system, too.

Hello! I've been playing this game a lot lately and I've been having a lot of fun with it! I did have one question however. How exactly do you make your Dizzy Doughnuts chain actually profitable? I have just one employee and and awareness of over 100, and I'd still be operating at a loss. I'm not sure if there's something I'm missing, but I can't seem to make it profitable at all

You need three employees to get the most out of it. I've found that one employee will never turn a profit, two can make a weak profit, and three will let you snowball in wealth. You also need to continuously spend more and more on advertising, because it has diminishing returns.  It's a good idea to have a lot of money saved up for the first few weeks. There are also profitability and awareness upgrades you can get if you fatten anyone up to blob size and get the whole secret Dizzy's lab feature going, and they're worth sprinting for.

The more awareness the better! (... sry what was the break even awareness again?)
More employees also sell more!

Just a bug fix concerning proposing marriage to an immobile girl, which wasn't working correctly.

A potential idea I've thought about was for a Gluttony stat that all girls and possibly the player could have. Basically it's a stat similar to fitness that can rise and lower as the game goes on, maxing out at 100%.

It's main propose would be to allow girls to naturally gain weight without needing to go on a date with you, similar to how the Dizzy employees gain weight while they work. It should be a hard stat to raise as it could end up making the game a bit too easy and should also stop effecting weight once they reach barely mobile to avoid automatically immobilizing them. Maybe it could be linked to Dizzy items or upgrades. Dizzy addiction could also automatically raise the stat to 100%

I just think it'd be fun to raise a girls gluttony to max and leave her alone for a few months only to check back with her and she how's she's gained hundreds of pounds. Could even change some dialogue making her much more focused on food and eating. If she's living with you, you'd catch her scanning the fridge or pigging out on the couch.

I kind of like this idea, though I imagine it’d be pretty complicated to implement in a balanced way. I could see there being a trade-off between building a girl’s gluttony and just fattening her outright on a date.

Interesting idea. It could work well with the corruption system I plan to add in a future update, which would let you turn normal girls into feedees. Perhaps part of the process would be to max out their gluttony.

it would really be more of an aesthetic change, but i like the idea of these kinds of statistics being displayed as over 100%, leaning into the idea of their appetite and desire growing far above normal. Under the hood, it would work like a normal stat. but a normal NPC, untouched by the player, would have it listed as a percentage between 0-70% or so, Like Fitness, but the true cap is 999%

I be fine with auto weight gain as long as it is optional, I don't want all my girls to grow into a ocean of fat. So it should be lock to Dizzy food items in my book 📖.

That makes sense. Girls already passively gain if they're addicted to Dizzy's, so if I do add a gluttony stat, perhaps that could just impact date behaviour.

I'm sure this is all moot since it's probably a ways away, though I do think the appeal of the gluttony stat would be the way it adds some autonomy to the girls. The Dizzy's addiction is already one of my favorite features in how it adds passive weight gain, so maybe it's more a question of balance or tuning?

I certainly like the idea of making the girls more independent characters who make their own decisions in the background of the game. The next update will include a little more in this direction, but perhaps they could have their own things going on that they could tell you about, such as a failed diet or having to size up their clothes.

Just out of curiosity, is "Bubbly" the only Carer personality at the moment?

At least I've found "Shy", "Ambitious" and "Sloppy" that I have noticed, maybe there are a few others apart from these(?

I do believe you are right, though I was referring to the personal carers, over the care assistants. Appreciate the reply though!

'Bubbly' is currently the only personality for the carer who looks after you at your home. Care assistants (at the care home) can also be a further three (the ones gutierrezbeto441 mentioned).

Let me know if there are any other personalities you'd like to see for the carer, as I may add more in the future. :)

Hmmm... Lazy might be a good personality. In the same vein, "Strict" might be fun to see as well.

That said, for simplicity, the carers and the care assistants could just have the same four.

Yes, I think that could be a good idea. The sloppy personality will act lazy & the ambitious, strict, so you'll get those aspects with the same four. :)

I think all of the nice personas like Quirky & Kind should be natural care taking types out side of feeder & the Bubbly persona. I can also see other persona's once they are at at least your wife be willing to take care of your OC when obese.

I agree. I'd like to add special dialogue for when your partner is caring for you, for every personality at some point.

A suggestion, if it's not already planned or hasn't been suggested already, perhaps allow the player to marry a girl if she's immobilized in their home?

It should be possible even at your home too! You may not have known her long enough to unlock the proposal.

Okay, just tested this and you actually can't! Apparently it's been like that since the polishing update lol. It still tells you to take the girl to a Day trip in order to ask her to marry you which is kind of impossible due to heavy circumstances (herself). 

Other thing I noticed was that in the facility, sometimes when using the special formula and the concentrate on a girl, the percentage needed to get to the next stage get stuck at 100% until you do a feeding, sometimes it accumulates a few stages too, forcing you to do a few hose feedings in order to keep going. I think that would be all I've noticed for now.

The 100% thing is a little trickier to sort out, as I'll need to add a mechanism for girls to move up multiple weight stages at once. I'll improve this in the next major update.

Hey, this is a GREAT game, I've played several rounds now :^)

I love your writing and I love how much you already have put into this game, there's a palpable passion in there and I'm so eager to see more! 

I especially love playing the gaining character and the small description that are peppered in every other day are so good <3

I wanna second the people who asked for male characters to be dated (and also non-binary ones for that matter.) And also the question if you could let two+ partners live with you (or maybe just have an open relationship, where you live with one but can still have other people over?) I wouldn't mind if a lot of the activities were still one-on-one, but when I had a partner living with me, it felt restricting not to be able to see any of the other NPCs I befriended (and dated and fed ...)

For my own ideas that could be cute:

I really like to do more with my immobile partners and see them struggle/restricted by their sheer size. We could have mobility aids like scooters to still have them go out on dates. Maybe this is something that only some characters like, because it makes the more reluctant ones feel othered/looked at? Maybe not all establishments are made for that (like on the day trips). While on the other hand it would be such a flex at the eating competition/all you can eat buffet, and such a turn-on for the willing feedee-types  :> And maybe the energy level is just very low and one trip into town a day is all they can manage? Or they have to take a caretaker with them ...? 

I'd like to be able to react more to my date's weight gain, eg. be surprised if they jump to a new weight stage (especially if we haven't met in a long while) and it would be nice to compliment them on their looks (and this could also be a thing where different NPC characters receive it differently/wanna hear different things). Or maybe where different things I say make them more or less susceptible to the next action/feeding?

Similarly I think it would be cool if some mechanics could be expanded, like: I'm already asked which formular to funnel feed my date, but I actually can only pick one (or am I missing something?) and it would be cool to have a choice that has some small effect: Makes them more hungry, expands their stomach's volume for the next eating competition/buffet, buffs how fast they can eat or makes them more sluggish so they call you over more etc, or a fomular that makes them gain in a specific area ...?  

Also I think it would be nice to do other activities at home after a date instead of "just" the Take Her to The Bedroom option. Which is cool and nicely written in all! But I feel like a selection of more things would be nice, cook together, or game, or just make out with them (with your nice descriptions!) orrr maybe something that fits their personality types, like draw a nude portrait with the artsy one, or measure the gains of a very willing feedee, etc. 

And I think it would be nice to have an option, when your date is in love with you and wants to be your partner, to let them down amicably, and be just friends or be kinksters who just want to feed each other, friends with benefits, etc. Instead of them cutting all contact with you if you choose no. (Similary when you don't want to live together anymore. D: I don't want to hurt them!)

And then there are three things I noticed that may be oversights:

- When I hop from one place to another with a partner and I choose "your place" next the description makes it sound like I'm already home and the other character is visiting me. 

- When I feed someone at home with the funnel, it says 35 pounds on the first button, but it doesn't cost anything when I click it, and when I choose the actual formular it says 50 pounds and that is the amount that I actually pay? So I think the first number is irrelevant and can be deleted ...?

- When I (player character gaining enabled) become addicted to Dizzy's Donuts, it felt too strong? Even when I visited the donutshop I often had to go there again with my next date. Idk if I misunderstand the mechanics, maybe the addiction is getting worse the more I give into it? But it was getting on the NPC's nerves with how much we were going there haha

I take part as a player by reporting bugs and making various suggestions.
I watch the developement closely.
Actually you can see some of my ideas, mostly small but significant details, in the game. Becasue, thankfully, the developer "taylor applebrook" received almost all of them very well.

Ps.: i'm more into "gameplay featuers" then into "artistic content".

I wasn't sure from what kind of position/authority you're speaking, if you and the creator are on the same page and if I can take your word for it? Because I've seen your answers here a lot and it comes off that way. But in the end, if you're "just" another player then my comment isn't really intended for you. 

I agree that Taylor Applebrook answers in a way that seems like they're good with suggestions & feedback, that's why I wrote a comment. And I also know some stuff I said has been said before, but I thought, well it can't hurt to show how many people would enjoy this haha. 

And I haven't read all the comments, but the last few pages and I thought I was adding something news, but if not than please read my  "I hope we're getting X" as "I am SO eager for the update with X in it". Your answer to me in that moment came off a bit dismissive.
Maybe my comment came off in that moment as criticsm? And it's really not meant that way, if anything I'm just greedy for more of a good thing :>

Many of your comments are quite timely, as they relate to new features I'm currently working on for the next update (Jobs & Home). The update will greatly expand on jobs & interests held by both the player and the girls. You'll be able to purchase upgrades for your home (including mobility scooters!) that enable new activities, allow girls to remain with you to the final weight stage & let you live with multiple girls at once.

So, your ideas on how these new elements could work are definitely useful to help me get them right.

I agree that the game needs dialogue with the girls, where you, as the player, can compliment/react to their weight gain. This could link in with an oft-requested feature to persuade normal girls to intentionally gain weight for you.

There are two other hose feed mixes already available in the game, but I think your formula ideas would work really well for a new cooking minigame I have planned. I want players to be able to find special ingredients that have interesting effects when used in food for the girls.

I think a 'just friends' option for the love declaration scene is a great idea. I'll include that in the next update, thank you for the suggestion. :)

Thanks too for mentioning those oversights. I'll investigate those and make sure they are improved upon in the next release.

Noticed that there is the job description "Carer" now for townies.
Does this mean that it is a character who will potentially act as a carer for ppl at home?
So we can date the carers now if we meet them in town?
Or are they seperate persons?

It used to be that if you regained your mobility, the Council-assigned carer would disappear once her contract with you was up, never to be seen again. Now, though, she should be added to your phone list so you can date her as a normal girl. Part of the work to make this possible was to add 'Carer' to the job pool.

I think it'd be interesting if a random girl with this job could potentially become your carer later in the game. Perhaps I'll add that at some point.

Btw.: Playing the game in "slow burn" style this time. Slowly discovering the fine details, instead of a maxing out speedrun.

The new update just fixes the crash error Drakin292 reported earlier today. There won't be any new features until the release of Jobs & Home. I'll make sure to create a post detailing everything added once that's out!

Finally got to this point

And it only took around 3900 days.
Also got this other project doneMy first wife got to 10+ tons. She was the first immobile and sent to the facility, so it's an insane goal lol, maybe I'll try to get her to stage 100 just for fun. 

Knowing that the job's and home update is coming, will it be possible to move people back from the facility to our home or are they stuck there for good?

Good job on managing to hit 99% national obesity & getting a girl all the way to blob stage 65!

I'll be adding a new item to the Dizzy's employee shop that'll let you transfer a girl from the facility to your home (provided your home has the right upgrades to support her), with no weight loss required.

I haven't quite figured out how it'll work just yet (in terms of potential interactions between the different girls living with you, etc.), but I want to make it possible to have multiple girls living with you at your home. :)

I see how that would be difficult with all the different personalities and similar stuff, Maybe a secondary stat to affection could work or something, like openness to poly or similar? Almost like the Fitness? Maybe some could be against it and some more open to it and would accept to coexist with other girls way easier. For the less open, once they are immobile you could move them to your home (Maybe a low chance like the concentrate in the feeding machine?) if they agree to be cared by you and they would be "forced to" cohabit with other girls if they accept? Each personality with their own reactions and stuff.
Just a few ideas that could, or could not work. Anyways, good luck with the development! I'll be patiently waiting for the update.

How do i make the doughnut shop profitable?

Invest a lot on advertising it (Around 10k was enough iirc.) and you'll be settled, the more your shop is known, the better. If you can get the three girls in the job position works too cause it keeps the shop open for longer and sells more.

Created an account here just to say that firstly; Love this game and secondly, not sure if it'll be done at all or not, but what if losing weight from becoming massively overweight leaves the player with saggy skin and regaining leads to a much flabbier appearance? Would that or rather could that be done or is it not on the docket?

if this detail is adressed it should be temporary, not permanent.
Maybe a remark after weightloss but no permanent condition.

Weight, Fitness and the resulting conditions should be very flexible!
Becasue of gameplay, not realism ofc.
You should be able to move back and forth in an endless game.

Ofc some things, like height, base skincolor, eye color and base haircolor should be permanent.

Ps.: I suggested a tanning system (also non permanent ofc.) and the dev was very positive on it.

I honestly have no issue with it being temporary, or at least being something that can be slowly amended over time/getting cosmetic skin removal via a new town square business to expedite it

Since this is a kind of medical condition it should be optional.
The dev already stated that health problems will be optional if included at all. 

Personally i'm not into any of it, to be honest.

Can there be an option to refuse to send your wife to Gentle Meadows / Dizzys? Also, can there be more options for things to do with immobile partners, like playing video games and board games? I’d love to have more fun with immobile partners that isn’t just shipping them off to be fed. You could even make refusing to send them away and hiring a 24 hour nurse an option, plus it would be fun to see your wife’s habits start to rub off on her nurse.

Oh! And since you made it impossible to avoid buying new clothes when outgrowing them, it might be cool to add a wardrobe every morning and to make it impossible to save on SMALLER clothing when trimming back down too! Not to mention that your flatmate/partner could borrow your clothes, especially if they're of the same sex, and it would make for an either annoying or fun joint shopping sequence! 


And maybe include some pregnancy that checks the day for multiples of... Thirty or so, with a range for random variation when an NPC can get preggo, or more sex options like blowjob or backshots, especially when you implement dudes

I know trans characters have been mentioned as a possibility; will it be possible for the MC to transition while gaining weight? Would this need to be something the player does on their own or could an NPC gradually 'encourage' you into this?

After having obesified 18 towns and counting, maybe the Blob stages could use a little more variety in their description? I get the idea that these girls are little more than massive mounds of flab and have lost most shape, but maybe they could gain with their original gain pattern? I think it could make sense. Or how they start to fill the rooms, maybe some get wider to the sides before reaching the back wall and reverse. I think those kind of details could be a little improved in a future update or something?
Or not, in the end they will all end up filling their chamber with flab anyways.

When you're feeding yourself with player weight gain enabled, it seems like some of the level up upgrades don't seem to function, notably the one that lets you have a third helping at a restaurant. I'm not sure if any of the others aren't functioning, like the calorie-boosting ones, because there's no information on what the calories of each meal are.

On that note, it'd be nice if the calories of each meal were known, since a lot of restaurants do provide nutritional information for their food in real life. Or at least add an upgrade you can purchase that lets you see it.

The 'Endless Appetite' upgrade only works on the girls, but you can actually eat a third helping when at locations alone with no upgrades required. It triggers when you eat enough from the first two portions to reach the stuffed state.

I can certainly add some calorie numbers to the dates. I'll include that in the next update. Thank you for the suggestion!

Ah, I think I was just confused as to how many the "default" was. But I did notice that the Charming Bargainer upgrade isn't working, the Greasy Spoon's Gut Buster meal always costs $18 even after purchasing the upgrade.

Oh, and random thought, I think it'd be nice to have a toggle to not encounter random partners when you visit a place, in case you're sticking on custom characters or just want to focus on stuffing yourself, haha.

Is the hose upgrades broken? I got the upgrade and all i can feed the feedee is normal stuff, not the high calorie stuff. If its not broken how do i change to higher calorie hose thing? =)

It's not broken, you need to fatten up one of your ladys to hyper obesity to unlock a special facility where you can buy more potent shake formula.

This update was really good, but I have some ideas 
1:I feel like you should add images of the girls(you don't have to), but like go the anime girl or realistic human route with all the selections and add that to yourself or the girl you are fattening 
2:A bloating system:If you go WAY too overboard with eating, you should be bloated and burp a lot too, you have to have someone rub your belly or do it yourself.
3:I feel like there should be GLUTTONOUS and SLOB meters, like that means if you are a max on slob, you Burp A LOT, you leave more of a mess when eating and you're just a complete pig. Gluttonous means how much you want food. 
4:I feel like you should be able to mix personality types, like slobby brat, she cares about Money and her looks, yet burps and is a pig after a big meal. 
5:I feel like you should be able to pick what kind of clothes you want, like a school uniform, a dress, a business suit or something like that. 
6:I feel like you should have an option to cancel immobility and just be a mobile blob of fat. it'd be funny. 
anyways they are just ideas, you dont HAVE to use them, but I'd like if one or two were in the game. that's all 

I ever read the creator comment that they are not really into slobs.

I may add some optional slob/burping features, toggled when creating a new game, as I've had a few requests for them.

I definitely plan on having clothes customisation happen someday & perhaps have it affect how the girls see you.

The next update will include something like #6, as I'll be adding a mobility scooter to let you move when immobile.

Regarding #1, the next update will have pictures of the girls! Nothing fancy, just pixel art face portraits generated by the game, taking skin tone, hair style/colour, eye colour & weight as parameters. I've been working on this for a while, and here's what it's currently looking like:

That's really cool, but the games I have played, they usually go down the full anime girl route, but that's cool. I feel like you should also show bellies too. I have a couple of other ideas too, Like: I feel like you should be able to toggle: Burps, Farts,  sex, or Immobility options on or off. another idea is that you should pick a work option, like mukbang livestreams, Weight gain videos, gaming, irl streams, or other options. Don't have to use the ideas, just suggestions

Remembering the girls names and their corresponding looks is very hard.

I like that it is kept in low res pixel art - so it doesen't distract from the written fiction!

Are your doing the pixel art, have you hired someone or is it procedurally generated?

The art is all created by me using GIMP, so I can't make any promises regarding the quality! Each of the portrait components, such as the face shapes, hairstyles, eye shapes etc are all stored within the game separately, such that the game can pick the right parts for the girl in question, colourise them and create the complete portrait images as and when needed.

Love how this update turned out. I love the gameplay loop with the feeders, turning it more into a management game with keeping your weight low to avoid immobility while still tricking the feeder into eating more. 

My only complaint is that losing weight is kind of a pain. Maybe the homes update could have a personal gym that can help you lose weight faster and maybe special energy drinks that keep fitness up.  

Really excited to see what's coming next, I had an idea that could be added in the far future after the other updates. 

Cooking, could be fun to have a home kitchen and cook meals for your GF. Each girl could have different favorite and least favorite foods that you can make. You could start with just small low calorie meals before getting feeder or kitchen upgrades that allow for bigger meals. Could have a minigame attached for how the food turns out. You could even sneak in Dizzy hunger additives, as long as you don't get caught.  

Anyway just an idea I had, great work on this like always.

For the time beeing the best way to lose weight is usinge the "Medical Mastery Temporary Boost" in combination with "Weight Loss Medication" from the pharmacy. However the boosts are only available in later game, when you have reached MAX Level 20 - so don't get fat in earlygame :P

Cooking was also discussed since the beginning of the game, so im quite sure it will be a thing soon.

Cooking is something I've wanted to add for a while, and was even one of the options on the first poll. As it happens, I've created a cooking skill (max level 100) that's part of the new jobs system, so I am tempted to tie it in to a new cooking minigame. I really like your ideas on how this could work, especially connecting it to the home upgrades.

My plans for the next update are getting really ambitious, so we will see what happens!

The big four features in the next update will be the player career/education system, home buying/renting/upgrading, the new face portraits and 'OnlyFats', which will be an in-game feedism website that you can sign up to & sell content on. OnlyFats will be populated by procedurally generated models from around the world who will gain and post content throughout the course of the game. You (and/or any girls you convince to model) will be able to create your own content to try and beat them in the leaderboards & potentially earn lots of money.

I haven't started work on home upgrades yet, so what it'll include is still up in the air. But I can add a swimming pool upgrade, no problem. Feel free to suggest any other stuff you'd like to see!

This update is just fantastic, ive played around with the new features and i really love flipping the script on the feeders. I would love to see something like a mutual feeder/feedee personality, one that would be very hard to fatten unless you get fat alongside them. 

Also an idea for a future update: if a girl loves going to the gym, it would make sense if she loses weight at a slow but steady rate if shes not addicted to dizzys and you leave her alone long enough.

I'm planning on adding some mutual gainer personalities in the 'More Personalities' update that'll work as you describe. They'll reverse the 'I'll eat if you do' feeder fattening from the Polishing Update, similar to how the feeders were designed to be a reverse of the original game.

It does make sense that some girls would try to lose weight when left alone. I can look at that.

With the girls showing up at the facility, that might be because they're addicted to Dizzy's and have passively eaten their way to hyper obesity. I might put a cap on the passive gaining, as some of the dialogue assumes that you've fattened them out of Gentle Meadows.

Funny you say that, actually, as I started making an HTML game similar to Second Helpings back in 2020, based around weight gain at university, but never finished it. That game was all about managing your own weight, though & had no feeding/fattening others in it.

Found what I think is an oversight. So, when you have a (non feeder, normal personality) partner and they move in with you (player WG on in this scenario, for context), then become immobile, you can normally usually only have your partner eat and gain with you, or choose to make only your partner gain, entirely depending on whether you choose to eat with her or not. As you know, there's no option to eat independently of them due to the fact that they take place of the carer and don't have the order food option, effectively meaning there's no way to make yourself the fat one in the relationship. HOWEVER...


If you get yourself addicted to Dizzy's before becoming immobile (either by opening the Dizzy's yourself or by having a feeder girl leveled up high enough to open it up before dumping her for the normal personality girl), you get the option to order Dizzy's delivery, which has ONLY the player be the one eating.


As a result, it's entirely possible to theoretically keep a normal personality girl mostly skinny whilst you, the player, blow up, depending on how much you have to feed her for the affection gains so she'll agree to move in.


Problem is, and this is why I think it's definitely an oversight, is that there's no dialogue for this situation, AND if you eat yourself into the care home, whilst your partner WILL continue being your carer (likely left over code from the feeder girls), all the girl's dialogue will still be the same as when you are living at home with her.


Although this clearly wasn't intended, I hope you lean into this oversight instead of removing it. It's essentially a happy accident that moves us closer to the possibility of being the "fat one" in a relationship with a non feeder girl instead of ALWAYS having to be the feeder or mutually gaining.

I'm happy to lean into it and give all the girls dialogue for the situation. I could also add a way outside of Dizzy's addiction for the player to be the only one eating when immobile & cared for by their partner.

I do have plans for that kind of 'fun' with the facility residents & it'll be tailored to their extreme size! Expect to see it in the 'Sex & Pregnancy' update, which came second in the vote, so will be released after 'Jobs & Home'.

it would be nice if you can work at your feeder girls dizzy doughnuts, or even some of the shops like the cinema or the greasy spoon and have the feeder gf list you and fatten you up while working.

Really love this game! I've been enjoying exploring the new update, and playing around with letting myself stay addicted to Dizzy's.  I'd be interested in having a few extra possible things happen when you're at peak craving... Like resorting to pumping yourself full of batter, or letting something fattening happen to you while exploring the headquarters. Also think there could be something done with if you move to a new town and don't open up your Dizzy's branch, whether the addiction forces you to open it up or you allow someone else to. Thanks so much for all the work you put into this!

Any plans to make national obesity 100%? i'm at 99% with 22 towns obesified, I;m invested in the growth of the PM and newscaster more than the girls in town at this point

It's some way off, but one of the next updates I have planned (Dizzy's & London) will have a big focus on the national obesity rate. You'll be able to explore London outside of day trips, the state of which will be directly tied to the national rate. 

There will also be a lot more content concerning the fight to save Britain's waistline, with the introduction of an anti-obesity organisation committed to battling Dizzy's, which you can either help or hinder. Successfully fattening up this organisation might be the key to reaching 100% obesity.

Regarding the London part, I have a question born out of curiosity and a slight bit of worry, would it be possible to see all that content in a previous save that already reached 99% obesity rate without having to regress the national rate back or would it need to be reverted or create a new game?
I ask cause it would be a bit of a grind to reach the whole thing back in another save again (and I'm kind of attached to the one I already have too lol), maybe if you reach that point it could help you reach back and forth on the rates faster with an upgrade or similar, to help see that content in your save?

Good point, I don't want to punish players who have taken the time to reach 99% national obesity on existing saves. Your idea of a special upgrade once you reach 99% obesity, which makes it easier to change the rate, could work well. Thank you for that suggestion. :)

Alternatively you could just travel to a new town inside the existing savegame, keeping all the archievements, money, XP and fluffiness rate!
Maybe go to the newly opened  hairdressers and swallow some bitter weightloss pills from the pharmacy so the experience feels more then a new start but with all the archievements from the past!

BTW: i'm more interested in lowering the fatty rate again in future updates - which also was already confirmed!

Having a very good experience with the polishing update so far!
Feels like it is for the high-gloss-mirror-finish-polishing phase now!

Actually not much things left to polish, the only thing i can think of beeing a "check her out" button when you agree going out after a girl taking the initiative.

Since there are no difficulty levels at the moment it looks like feedees are the easy mode, feeders are the hard mode and all other characters are the normal difficulty.

Love to go out with a feeder girl and let her partake in the business of indulging, when in the end she finds out that she has gained more then her date did, that makes me smirk. 😏

Wonder how feedees react when you let them starve but get rly fat yourself ... but have yet to try that!

Over all second helpings is  a very well structured, cross-genere text game!
Great open world dating sim with a strong focus on food and it's consequences!

The update reduced the frequency of non-feeder partners requesting spending time together, fixed a 'make love' button that wasn't working & adjusted a failsafe function that detects if any girls have proportions inappropriate for their gain pattern.

Is your focus after job & home is sex & pregnancy, right? How do you expand the sex scene? Do we have a kid by that? And do you plan the kid can be fattened up too?  It's just my curiousity about what might you make on that.

For the sex scene, I'm planning an optional, short rhythm-based minigame where the goal is to bring both yourself and your girl to orgasm. I also want to add lots more variables, including location, positions, kink stuff like feeding and bondage, teasing, moaning, etc.

The pregnancy side of things will only include the actual pregnancy and the growth associated with that. There won't be any characters in the game below 18, so the result of the pregnancy won't feature as an interactable character in any way.

For the pregnancy part would it just be giving the child up or something like that ?

It's a tricky one, as I want the consequences of pregnancy to exist and for the game to be somewhat realistic.

What I might do is make the mother unavailable for interaction when caring for her child, similar to what happens when she's at work. The free slots for dates would be when the child is at a nursery or with their grandparents. If the mother is, or becomes, too fat to care for the child, the child would be permanently moved to live with their grandparents. When the child reaches school age, I'd probably have them permanently sent away to a boarding school.

So instead of children being characters, they'd act as a second, temporary job for the mother.

I welcome any feedback or suggestions on this.

I would like to know if you play as a woman & had a child would you have the option to raise the child? Would the game gain a SIM (from EA) like quality with taking care of your family.

Carefully weigh your options here so you do not run into ethic problems, which could upset the fanbase (and others) more then having less game content.

Im sure you are aware of what controversies "life sim" games can cause.

It is reasonable that you have decided that offspring will not be actual game characters. Even if you would  let these characters age to adults immediately, you would have to block certain interactions with them anyway. 

Make the  consequences of pregnancy even more minimal?
Like: having a short story about parenthood, sleep deprevation, and that everything went well in the end ... years later ... the younger generation have grown to adults and live thier own lives ... you continue the game.

If you really want to have parenting included in the game then the player character should also have the chance to partake in that. Like losing a timeslot when your partner is not available for whatever reaason.
It is also clear that all family members have to always be cared for adequately.


Personally i could perfectly enjoy the game without the whole "pregnancy and its consequences" theme. Yes it means less content but also less problems.

Choose wisely on how to approach this!

Thank you for your feedback! I've thought it over, and I think the safest way forward might be to have a short scene of a couple of sentences at the end of the pregnancy, stating that the birth was a success, and it's been agreed that your son/daughter will be raised by their grandparents. Then they are never mentioned again, and the game carries on as normal.

Ultimately, Second Helpings is an erotic fetish game & I don't want children (or anyone under the age of 18) anywhere near that.

Oh boy, several more hours of gooning for me! Also, after playing this update for a bit, successfully turning a dominant feeder into a blob, inspiration struck me.


I kinda wanna be able to do the opposite. As in, encourage a feedee or normal personality to take on a feeder role in a relationship. And perhaps also be able to get them to take on the feedee role without being reluctant the whole way through anymore.


Obviously, I understand that this would be more work. I'm just giving you suggestions that you aren't at all obligated to follow up on or respond to. Basically, the way I see it, all current feedee and feeder personalities in the game have their role as basically their only personality trait. Eager feedee is a zero resistance target through and through, nurturing feeder is always mommy coded 100% the time, and so on.


I'd love if you could give the normal personality types some personality specific lines depending on whether they take on the feeder role, feedee role, or don't participate in the kink and are supportive or not supportive.


That way there are some options for the player when they want the girls to be an active participant in the kink, but also don't want that to be their only personality trait. For context, I'm 100% envisioning the brat personality who has become convinced that weight = status and makes that assertion everyone else's problem.

Or, of course, the other way around where you getting fatter for the brat is a demand. But not a dominant sort of demand like the dominant feeder. The sort of "demand" where the one making it is clearly full of privilege and entitlement, but otherwise have zero ability to actually enforce anything, making it the player's choice whether or not to enable her.


Y'know, stuff like that, but unique to each personality type. I think it's a (even putting gooning potential aside) interesting idea to explore how someone's personality changes how they go about interacting with their kinks, like how in BDSM, some doms are gentle and soft, whereas others are outright sadistic.


This has become a massive message, but final point being: different people interact with kinks differently. I'd love to see that concept explored.

Still read through your post, tho i already knew i disagree with the idea of "changing personalities" or "mixed personalities". Becasue i think that would make them all too similar.

If a person(ality) is not your type - don't date them!
This is now easier due to the "Psychological Profiling" Upgrade you can archieve.

It's not about "changing" it's about "adding". As it stands, all the personalities are pretty one-note. Adding in nuance to how each character interacts with or doesn't willing interact with the feederism kink could go a long way to giving them depth.


See my example I gave concerning the bratty personality. That is the way I envision that specific personality type would engage with the kink if you, the player, were to get them into it via persuasion/them having an unrelated sexual awakening to the kink by accident/circumstance as they see themselves and/or the player getting larger. 


You could even have that factor into the gameplay a bit, as perhaps different ladies of the same personality type could have differing reactions to their weight gain and/or the player's weight gain as it occurs. Some of them might not be into the kink at all and actively fight against it and disapprove, some might be SUPER into it in one way or another, and some might not be personally into it, but accepting and enabling the player's kink out of love, either getting fatter for the player or agreeing to be the player's personal feeder.


I find it personally delicious in feeding kink stories when the feeder character is low-key kinda not into it, but enabling the very much into it feedee character, for example.


Thus, say, the anxious personality, for example, would also have a completely different and unique way of interacting with the kink than the other personality types.


So on and so forth for all the personality types. I'm not suggesting for their personalities to be "changeable". I'm suggesting that MORE could be added to them.

To summarize the idea 💡 centered around veteransy & the girls gaining a Veteran feede tag with the girl eating whatever you feed them like a base feeder persona & gain new dialogue with interactions. This would happen when one has the talk about Life-O-suction to reset their gains to do it all over again.

I like your idea MeeperMooper were different personas have some positive or negative interactions on top of their unique dialogue that you unlock with weight progression, I do feel from my understanding the game design that it would be more it's difficult to do then a verbial chickpoint that brings the change would be easier. Of course it will ultimately be up to the Dev.

Part of what you want to see is already there - differnt characters react differntly on the various kinks.
Some want to stay slim or even sporty some enjoy gaining and becoming more of themselves. Some are afraid about gaining - and yes some like it at first but then think it is too much or vice versa  - so some girls are already going through different emotions and change their mind on the journey!

I think there is a lot of variety already there, and the developer is on a very good track to add even more personalities/characters in future!

I would not change the personality system at all, becasue it is beautiful as it is!
The game is about changing the characters bodies and then see how their mind reacts!
If you could convince every charcter to behave the same way that is simply boring because repeditive.

Not every character will be the right one for you but some character you dislike will be the right one for someone else! No need to even their behaviour out and kill variety in the process.
Ofc more personalities are better! But please do not messs with the already existing ones!

As it happens, I've been thinking of adding feeder & feedee versions of the base sixteen personalities. It's been a popular request (including, I think, one of the very first comments after release!) that I've never fulfilled. They would potentially start that way, or it might be possible (though tricky, perhaps involving some special upgrades) to convert a 'Bratty' girl to a 'Bratty Feeder' girl.

I plan to introduce some of them in the 'More Personalities' update, with a poll beforehand to do the most popular combinations first.

Okay, i lower my level of criticism here ...

Jumping between feedee-normal-feeder mindset might be what many ppl want.
Maybe i'm in the minority with ppl  who want the personalities set in stone.
 
However:
If the "normal" personalities get their feedee/feeder versions then the current 4 feedees and 5 feeders should also get their "normal" version!

Actually some of the feeders are rly attractive, and i found myself wishing they where less perverted ie.: normal characters. Same for feedees.

Guess i slowly acquire a taste for personality changes (or sholudl i say mindf***).
Still thinking that it is a good idea to keep the good stuff as it is - just adding up to it.

Don't worry, I totally understand where you're coming from & I'll be careful if I add any such changes. It won't be something that happens out of the blue or accidentally. The player will need to work towards it via feeder upgrades, etc., and it'll be presented as the girl discovering the desires she didn't know she had or being corrupted into feedism through the player's actions. So any changes would hopefully be believable.

I'd love to add many more personalities in the future and versions of the feedists without the feedism might happen!

I left a comment about a month ago that was this exact idea. But you've worded it way better than what I put. I agree with the personalities becoming too one note after you've had a playthrough with one. I had two quirky personalities in the same town and there really wasn't an incentive to date the second one as the dialogue and interactions was mostly be identical. 

This system would really help to make each girl feel their own and create better diversity. I could see the current personalities being the base state for when you meet a girl and it can change through interactions and dialogue choices. Could make the talk options feel important cause once you enter a relationship, it kind of just becomes filler text. Maybe you could give hints or compliment her weight.

To give an example, the base personality for bookish is her love for reading. If she enters the feedee path, she starts reading wg erotica and begins encouraging her and the player to act like in the stories she reads. The opposite would be her sticking to a diet and avoiding overeating through reading health books. 

These pathways could be through a major event such as the girl asking if you're intentionally making her fat. With the outcome being based on your dialogue choices and how strong the relationship is. Same would apply for feeder path. 

It'll probably take awhile before something like this is in the game, but it could really expand upon the personalities in a great way. 

It's a while away yet, but I'd love to include some of these ideas in the 'More Personalities' update. 

My original vision for this game was to use procedural generation to create an endlessly replayable weight gain simulator. Probably too ambitious for what I'm actually capable of making, but that's still my aim.

The next update, 'Jobs & Home', will expand more on the jobs and interests held by the girls, which will hopefully add an extra dimension to them so that one Quirky girl is not the same as the next.
